Get to know the Package Center's services
Columbia Mail provides USPS mail and shipping services.
Incoming Packages: Wien Hall
Incoming packages are received at the Undergraduate Package Center in the lower level of Wien Hall.
You will receive a notification email for package pick-up. If not picked up within 7 days, a second email is sent and you then have an additional 7 days before that package is returned. When shipped a package marked "perishsable," an email entitled "Perishable Item" will be sent to you. Perishable and oversized bulk packages are held for no more than 7 days, as there is limited capacity for refrigerated items.
Package Center kiosks in the lower level of Wien Hall enable Columbia Housing residents to check in and expedite package collection.
Mailboxes and Other Services: Lerner Hall
Send a Package
The Mail window on the 3rd floor of Lerner Hall offers discounted FedEx shipping services to students and Columbia affiliates. Columbia Mail's FedEx rates are significantly lower than the company’s online or in-store rates. To ship a package via FedEx, a Domestic Shipping Form or an International Shipping Form must be completed and provided with the package.
Items for Purchase
The Mail window at Lerner Hall also sells boxes, bubble wrap, padded mailers, and envelopes. Please note that stamps are not available for purchase. View the price list.
Student groups, University affiliates, and outside organizations meeting certain criteria can request flyers to be placed in student mailboxes. See our policy for additional details; then submit a request form with relevant details and to confirm applicable fees.
